HARRISBURG (AP) – Lloyd White, chairman of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, died at age 58.

The Dauphin County coroner’s office on Monday confirmed his death but said details, including the day he died, were not yet available.

White was on the board since 2001 and served as chairman since September.

He’s a former Moravian College police sergeant who also worked in the Bucks County Adult Probation and Parole Department.

Gov. Tom Corbett describes White as a dedicated public servant who touched many lives.
