Mon Valley Sewage Authority will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at 20 Washington St., Mida Industrial Park, Donora.
Amwell Township Historical Society will celebrate its 10-year anniversary with a picnic at 6 p.m. Monday at Amwell Township Park. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, music and entertainment will be provided.
First Christian Church’s gently used clothing store will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday. The store is in the basement of the church at 615 E. Beau St., Washington.
Jacktown Fair in Wind Ridge will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Jacktown Fair Parade. The theme is “Treasure the Memories.” Prizes of $100, $75, $50 and $25 will be awarded to winning entries that use the theme. Float entries will be judged on their attractiveness, design, workmanship, use of the theme and originality. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, 120 McDowell Lane, McMurray, will hold a fundraiser July 17 to benefit the United Way of Washington County Community Impact Fund. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of each order throughout the day to the United Way. Eat in or take out. Diners must let servers know they are with the United Way.
