Mon Valley Actors & Artists will begin rehearsals for their holiday production of “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Radio Play” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Schooner Youth Center in Monessen.

Performers will present a live radio show based on the classic movie, “It’s A Wonderful Life.” The show will take the audience back to the time when radio was the only form of electronic entertainment in the home. The cast will learn what performing on live radio entailed in the 1940s, including how to create sound effects and different characters using only a voice.

Classes are open to those 8 and older. Cost is $50.
