Headley to play the Witch in ‘Into the Woods’

NEW YORK (AP) – Tony and Grammy winner Heather Headley has been lured back onstage to play a vengeful witch in a musical in St. Louis.

Mike Isaacson, the artistic director and executive producer of the Municipal Theatre Association of St. Louis, said Headley will play the Witch in their production of “Into the Woods.”

The production of the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine musical runs July 21-27 and will be directed by Gary Griffin.
