The Prexie Performers will present “The Face on the Barroom Floor” by Tim Kelly at 7 p.m. today through Friday at Washington High School.

“The Face On the Barroom Floor” is based on John Henry Titus’ 1872 poem. The play is set in the 1890s at the Teller House, a hotel in Central City, Colo., and is based on an actual painting on the hotel’s lobby floor.

Performers include Nicolas Dubina as the penniless artist, Jack “Toulouse” Goodhart; Avery Grant as the long-suffering heroine, Madelaine Mockingbird; Tyler Funk as the money-hungry villain, Roderick Rodent; Siarra DiMichele as Rodent’s servant, Fatima; Sasha Edwards as card shark Bella Yukon; Megan McGill as the tavern owner, Annie Quackenbush; Patience Karan as Mrs. Van Cleve, an uptight aristocrat; and Elizabeth Gysi as Mrs. Van Cleve’s daughter, Little Gloria.

Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Refreshments will be sold at intermission.
