Margaret Isiminger Moninger of Greene County will celebrate her 107th birthday Feb. 4.

Mrs. Moninger was born Feb. 4, 1908, in Springhill Township, Mt. Carmel, Greene County, the fifth of Henry and Lucinda Whipkey Isiminger’s nine children.

On Dec. 24, 1929, she married Donley Moninger. They celebrated 66 years of marriage before he died in 1995 at the age of 91.

Mrs. Moninger had four children, Eugene (the late Nancy), who is deceased; Shirley Zimmerman (the late Paul) of New Freeport; Sharon Creighton (David) of Findlay, Ohio; and Calvin (the late Lois) of Cameron, W.Va.

She has 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Four great-grandchildren are deceased.

Mrs. Moninger is a member of Centennial Church of God, where she was a Sunday school teacher and deaconess; a charter member of the Warrior Trail Association; and a member of Harveys-Aleppo Grange and the Greene County Pomona Grange.
