Ulysses S. Grant reenactor to perform at Peters Township Public Library

Peters Township Public Library will host “Ulysses S. Grant in Living History,” featuring Kenneth Serfass, Civil War re-enactor and impressionist, from 7 to 8 p.m. July 30.

Serfass has been appearing as Grant since 2009. In 2010, he performed in the History Channel production of “Lee & Grant,” and in 2013 for the HBO series “Family Tree.”

Adults and students in grades 7 and up are invited to “meet” . Grant and learn his perspective on the history surrounding him in the war years of 1861-65. Registration is requested for this free program by emailing programs@ptlibrary.org or calling 724-941-9430.
