Idol Kings kick off August entertainment at Meadows
The Holidays, who sing Motown and oldies, will perform Aug. 21 at The Meadows Casino.
Walt Sanders & the Cadillac Band will pay tribute to Elvis Aug. 15 at The Meadows Casino.
Country artist Todd Jones will perform Aug. 7 at The Meadows Casino.
The Idol Kings will kick off a full slate of entertainment in August at The Meadows Casino.
The group, which pays tribute to John Mellencamp and Journey, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Other performances include:
Aug. 7 – Todd Jones, country.
Aug. 8 – Lucky Me, rock.
Aug. 14 – Airborne, pop and variety.
Aug. 15 – Walt Sanders & the Cadillac Band, an Elvis tribute.
Aug. 21 – The Holidays, Motown and oldies.
Aug. 22 – Street Level, dance and variety.
Aug. 28 – Tony Janflone Jr., blues and variety.
Aug. 29 – Velveeta, 1980s rock.
All shows start at 8 p.m., and admission is free, with the exception of Walt Sanders & the Cadillac Band. There is a $10 cover.
In addition, Sock Hop Sunday with doo-wop DJ Dale Allen from WJPA Radio is held each week from 4 to 7 p.m.
Every Friday at 8 p.m. is 100.7 Party to Go. TJ the DJ of Star 100.7 joins The Meadows’ DJ AJ Fresh. DJ Nugget will be their special guest on Aug. 28.
Saturday Dance Night with DJ AJ Fresh begins each week at 8 p.m.
