4-H County Activity Night
Twenty-seven 4-H members between 8 and 18 years old recently participated in 4-H County Activity Night, which gives students an opportunity to improve their public speaking and demonstration skills.
Members gave demonstrations, impromptu speeches, public speeches and theatrical presentations. Those who received a blue ribbon at 4-H County Activity Night advance to 4-H Regional Activities Day, which will be held Thursday in Westmoreland County.
Winners received cash prizes of $75 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place. Plaques also were given to first-place winners.
