Kids safety event will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at McDonald’s of Canonsburg, 100 Bobby Vinton Blvd. McDonald’s of Canonsburg, Canonsburg Mayor David Rhome, Canonsburg police and fire departments and local EMS are partnering for the free event. There will be safety demonstrations for children, tours of department vehicles and a chance to meet Canonsburg’s first responders. Children who complete all three of the safety stations will receive a safety certificate, which can be redeemed at the Canonsburg McDonald’s for a free sundae. Admission is free, and no purchase is necessary.
Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown, will host Cross Vision at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Gathering Place Coffee Shop. Members of Cross Vision come from different areas of Pennsylvania to blend their original and covers of Christian rock music.
