Replicas of Christopher Columbus’ ships Nina and Pinta will dock Thursday at Station Square, Pittsburgh, until Oct. 13.
The ships tour together as a new and enhanced sailing museum to educate the public on the caravel, a Portuguese ship used by Columbus. While in port, the public is invited to visit the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour.
Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $6 for students 5 to 16 years old. Children 4 and younger are free.
The ships will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and reservations are not required. Teachers or organizations can schedule a 30-minute guided tour with a crew member by calling 787-672-2152 or emailing columfnd1492@gmail.com.
