Observer-Reporter, The Meadows partner for 2016 Washington County Auto Show
Based on the idea that vehicles can create adventure for the entire family, the Observer-Reporter and The Meadows Casino have partnered to present the 2016 Washington County Auto Show.
With more than 100 vehicles, 15 area dealers and 24 brands, the event aims to highlight the best the automotive industry has to offer while providing entertainment for the whole family. The show – to be held in The Meadows’ new event center – will offer entertainment, food and access to more than 15 regional vendors. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch will make an appearance in conjuction with Washington Area Humane Society from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday. He is raising awareness about homeless animals in the area.
This is the second year for the auto show, and the second event in the Observer-Reporter’s 2016 event lineup, which includes Farm to Fork, the Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival and the second annual Corks & Kegs Festival.
“We are thrilled to be hosting the second annual Washington County Auto Show at our new location,” Carole DeAngelo, OPC marketing director, said. “Our partnership with The Meadows has created unique events that have proven to be regional draws.”
Community Bank also is sponsoring the event.
