• Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. at Peters Township Public Library, 616 E. McMurray Road, McMurray. Call 724-941-9430 to register.

“The Power of Touch” explains how the body responds to touch. Participants will learn about the decades of medical research supporting the benefits of massage.

Part of the hands-on program is learning how to give massage to the hands. Having the hands massaged is a good introduction to the power of touch in a relaxing, nonthreatening atmosphere. It takes only a few minutes for the muscles of the hands to release tension and stress.
