Air Force Airman Corey J. Antonelli graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Antonelli is a 2006 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, and his father is Tim Antonelli of Finleyville.

Air Force Airman Christopher W. Brown graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Brown is a 2006 graduate of Washington High School, and his mother is Robin Tyler of Washington.

Col. Gene Shearer, who specializes in logistics, has completed war school in Carlisle and is working in the Pentagon, G4 Army section. He and his family live in Manassas, Va. His parents are Larry and Mary Shearer of Washington.
