Air Force Airman Joshua L. Dobrowski graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Dobrowski is a 2012 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, and his parents are Lance and Dawn Dobrowski of Canonsburg.

Marine Corps Pfc. Vincezo M. Yocolano, son of Michele Yocolano and James Yocolano, both of Donora, earned the title of U.S. Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. One week before graduation, Yocolano completed “The Crucible,” a 54-hour test of recruits’ minds and bodies. Upon completion, recruits are presented the Marine Corps emblem and called Marines. Yocolano is a 2012 graduate of Ringgold High School.

Air Force Airman Darren A. Gouin graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Gouin is a 2012 graduate of Washington High School, and his parents are Paul and Rosemarie Gouin of Washington.
