Johnson – 65 years
Walter S. and Marjorie Johnson of Amity will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children and a card shower. Cards can be sent to 448 Ridge Church Road, Amity, PA 15311.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were married June 17, 1948, in Anne Ashley Methodist Church in Munhall with the Rev. R.R. Stevens officiating.
The couple are the parents of Eric C. (Sylvia) Johnson of Washington, Cynthia M. (Rusty) Doman of Amity and the late David Scott Johnson.
They have five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Mr. Johnson, son of the late Plummer S. and Lou Brode Johnson, is a World War II veteran.
Mrs. Johnson, daughter of the late Edward and Edith Dewey Iddon, is a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church, Amity.
