Kerns – 50 years
Edward and Arlene Kerns of Prosperity celebrated their golden wedding anniversary during a surprise party hosted by their family and friends March 9. The party also celebrated Mrs. Kerns’ birthday.
The couple also will celebrate with a two-week trip to Florida at a later date.
Mr. and Mrs. Kerns were married March 15, 1963, in the Presbyterian church of Cumberland, Md.
Their children are Edward of Colorado, Craig of Washington and Jeffrey of Prosperity. Their grandchildren are Tyler, Courtney and Cassidy Kerns.
Mr. Kerns worked for 11 years at Richey’s Grocery, Lagonda, and Green Valley Packing.
Mrs. Kerns retired from Townview Health and Rehabilitation in Canonsburg.
