Speck – 55 years
Jim and Betty Speck of Washington celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a trip to Ocean City, Md.
The Specks were married October 24, 1958, in West Washington United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Clair Ralston Wick officiating.
The couple have a son, Ryan J. (Trudy) Speck of Monessen.
Their grandchildren are Mikayla and Brayden.
Mr. Speck, son of the late Roy and Eleanora Speck, retired from Observer Publishing Co. after 48 years of service.
Mrs. Speck, daughter of the late Gerald and Nina Main, formerly was employed at West Washington Hardware.
Both are members of West Washington United Methodist Church and Center in the Woods chorus and German Club.
