Cristina – 50 years
F. Lyle and Sandra Walle Cristina of Bentleyville celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a small dinner party for family and friends at the home of their daughter and a reception August 3 at their church, Nottingham Christian Center in Eighty Four.
Mr. and Mrs. Cristina were married July 26, 1964, in Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina, Kan.
Their children are Brian (Tara) Cristina of Aurora, Colo., Melissa (Jesus) Rios Lopez of Bentleyville and Brad (Diane) Cristina of McKinney, Texas. Their grandchildren are Mia, Micah and Lily of Aurora, Angelo and Ricky of Bentleyville and Dezri and Trinity of McKinney.
Mr. Cristina served four-and-a-half years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from JCPenney in Maryville, Mo., in 1997, and works for Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Mrs. Cristina was a proofreader at the Salina Journal from 1964 to 1969. She retired from the Maryville Daily Forum in Missouri in 1997. She is a homemaker.
