Shawin – 65 years
Leo and Tillie Shawin of Washington celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Shawin were married August 21, 1949, in First Lutheran Church, Washington.
Their children are Carol (Rocky) Cancelmi of Manassas, Va., and Cathy (Rick) Allinder and Cindy (Scott) Linville, both of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Chris Cancelmi, Rana Hockman, Brian and Emily Linville and Ryan and Derek Allinder.
They also have two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Shawin retired from Prudential Insurance Co. A U.S. Navy veteran, he is a member of the Kiwanis Club and volunteers at Washington Hospital.
Mrs. Shawin retired from Mellon Bank. She enjoys spending time with friends at a weekly card club and cooking for and spending time with her family.
Both are members of First Lutheran Church.
