Wermlinger – 66 years
David and JoAnn Wermlinger of Waynesburg will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary at a restaurant with family.
The Wermlingers were married February 11, 1948, in Waynesburg.
They have four children, Becki (Joel) Klenert of Orange, N.J., Betsy (Jack) Golding of McMurray, David Bruce (Patty Gaio) Wermlinger of Mooresville, N.C., and Barbara Wermlinger of Canonsburg.
Their grandchildren are Joshua Klenert, Amanda Klenert Seibert, Sean Klenert, Dr. Michael Golding, Melissa Golding Halstead, Molly Golding Kurnal, Zach Wermlinger. They have five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wermlinger served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed by Goodwin Insurance Agency and was a domestic relations officer.
Mrs. Wermlinger owned JoAnn’s Village Casuals, a women’s clothing shop, for several years.
