Picio – 50 years
Jack and Nancy Picio of Washington will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. The celebration is being planned by their children.
Mr. and Mrs. Picio were married June 13, 1964, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev. Donald Volker officiating.
The couple have two daughters, Kristy (Bob) Volz of Marianna and Susan Patz of Washington. Their grandchildren are Deanna, Becca and Liz Volz and Caleb and Katie Patz.
Mr. Picio worked in credit/finance in the manufacturing and management services industries for nearly 40 years. He served as vice president and treasurer of Levinson Steel Co. until his retirement in 2000. He also served as president of the Pennsylvania Association of Credit Management in New Castle.
Mrs. Picio worked for Trinity Area School District as a secretary and office support staff member for 35 years until she retired in 2007.
Both are active members at Immaculate Conception Church and enjoy spending time with their family and friends, especially their five grandchildren.
