Bill and Rita Meeks of Washington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. They also will celebrate with a trip to the beach this summer.

Mr. and Mrs. Meeks were married March 20, 1954, in Washington.

Their children are Sandra Wise, Billy Meeks Jr., Susan Jungo, Lisa Woods and Julia St. Vincent, all of Washington. A son, Chris John Meeks, is deceased.

They have 12 grandchildren, Heather Yocum, Matthew Wise, Tammy Kingan, Paul, William and Chris Woods, John and Shelby St. Vincent, Kristin Shargot, Nicole Jungo, Dameon and James Meeks. They have 15 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Meeks worked for Foster Dairy, Country Belle Dairy and retired from Drakenfeld Co. and Meeks Photography Studio.

Mrs. Meeks retired from CVS Pharmacy and was a health-care worker.
