Phillips – 50 years
Patty and Ray Phillips of Canonsburg celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a surprise party hosted by their sons at White Eagles Hall in Canonsburg, where their wedding reception was held 50 years ago.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillips were married October 31, 1964, at St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg by the Rev. E.R. Szelong.
Patty is a daughter of the late Emily and Anthony Cwiklinski. Ray is a son of the late Teresa and Joseph Phillips of Canonsburg.
The couple have three sons, Raymond and Patrick, both of Canonsburg, and Jeffrey (Cindy) of Venetia.
They are the proud grandparents of four granddaughters, Madison, Makenna, Tess and Leah Phillips.
Mr. Phillips served with the U.S. Army in Germany. He retired from Cooper Industries in 1994. Mrs. Phillips graduated from Penn Commercial and worked at Robinson Pipe Cleaning Co. and Photos by Elena. She retired as an office and accounts receivable manager from August Color Lab in Bridgeville.
