David Chapman and Deborah Borck-Chapman of Washington celebrated their silver wedding anniversary with a buffet reception at 3 p.m. April 27 in the Grand Ballroom at The George Washington Hotel. The couple also took a trip to Hawaii.

Mr. and Mrs. Chapman were married April 24, 1989, in King’s Hawaiian Garden, Paradise Park, Oahu, Hawaii, by the Rev. Barry Bochner of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Chapman worked for 31 years for Bob Evans Farms, Pittsburgh sales division. He is a self-employed Angus beef farmer on the family farm in Glen Easton, W.Va.

Mrs. Borck-Chapman is a fiscal assistant for Washington County Children and Youth Services.

Both are members of First Presbyterian Church, Washington, where Mrs. Borck-Chapman sings in the choir.
