Simpson – 50 years
James and Dorothy Simpson of Washington will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. March 21 at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 E. Beau St., Washington.
Family and friends who plan to attend are asked to RSVP to Michele at 724-873-1244 by March 17.
Mr. and Mrs. Simpson were married March 20, 1965, at Old Concord Presbyterian Church.
Their children are Michele (Jeff) Belfiore of Canonsburg, Melissa (Jack) Cole of Washington and Michael (Heather) Simpson of Uniontown.
Their grandchildren are Nicole, Emily, Lauren, CJ, Luke and Hannah.
Mrs. and Mrs. Simpson were the owners/operators of the Mansion House in Old Concord for 35 years. Mr. Simpson also was a postal carrier for 32 years in Prosperity. Both were members of Old Concord Presbyterian Church for 40 years and are now members of Faith United Presbyterian Church.
