Keruskin – 50 years
Paul S. and Mary Ann Keruskin celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on July 16 with a party given by their children for family and friends at Nemacolin Country Club, Beallsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Keruskin were married July 16, 1966, in St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Fredericktown, with Father Valentine Sedlak officiating.
Their children are Peter John, Paul Thomas and Dr. Todd Edward (Sharon) Keruskin.
They have six granddaughters, Jesse, Sarah, Megan, Anna, Jordan and Gabrielle.
Mr. Keruskin joined the United States Marine Corps in 1962 and served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1966. He worked at Westinghouse in Elizabeth, Allied Chemical in Newell, Vesta 5, Shannopin, Duquesne Light, Emerald and Bailey coal mines. Mr. Keruskin retired as a Pennsylvania state mine inspector for DED in 2015.
Mrs. Keruskin graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1965. She worked as a registered nurse at Washington Hospital, Brownsville General Hospital, Greene Health Care in Waynesburg and California University of Pennsylvania’s Student Health Center before retiring in 2005.
Both are members of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, Fredericktown. Their granddaughters have always been a special part of their lives. They enjoy vacationing with them, attending all of their activities and spending time with them. They enjoy traveling, and their favorite vacation destination is Aruba.
