James and Betty Post of Washington celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Larry Deemer officiating.

The couple’s family and friends attended, and a reception followed.

Mr. and Mrs. Post were married February 12, 1966, in Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church.

Their children are James K. (Bridget) Post of Washington and Mark A. (Tammy) Post of Hickory. Their grandchildren are Matthew, Sarah, Johnathan and Lydia Post.

Mr. Post is a retired self-employed truck driver. Mrs. Post is a retired cashier.
