Donaldson – 60 years
Robert and Shirley Donaldson of Peters Township celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a small get-together with their immediate family in their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Donaldson were married April 28, 1956, in Central Presbyterian Church, Canonsburg, with the Rev. Ward and the Rev. Lenz officiating.
Their children are Robert Jr. (Susan) of Denver, Colo., and Jeffrey (Jennifer) of Bethel Park.
Their grandchildren are Victoria and Samuel Donaldson.
Mr. Donaldson was an employee of Brookside Lumber Co. for 53 years. In his last 33 years, he was the vice president. Mr. Donaldson is a veteran of the Korean War. Mrs. Donaldson is a homemaker who is devoted to her children and grandchildren.
