James and Dorothy Harris celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a family picnic in their honor hosted by their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Harris were married March 26, 1966, in North Buffalo Church with the Rev. John Mark Scott officiating.

Their children are Doug (Melissia) Harris, Bryan (Yvonne) Harris and Michael (Eve) Harris.

They have three grandsons and one granddaughter.

Mr. Harris is employed by the Observer-Reporter and is retired from Waste Management. Mrs. Harris is retired from the Observer-Reporter and is a homemaker.
