Carl – 50 years
Donald and Mary Carl of Washington celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl were married September 24, 1966, in Wolfdale Chapel with the Rev. John DeBolt officiating.
Their children are Donald Jr. of Bentleyville, Traci (Clark) Sims of Lone Pine and Christine (Frank) Brown of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Tiffany Hoye of Scenery Hill, Kyle Sims of Lone Pine, Braden and Dane Carl of Bentleyville and Kain and Raelee Brown of Washington.
They have one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Carl is retired from Teamsters Local 249 in Pittsburgh and was a truck driver for 35 years, retiring from Yellow Freight System in 2000. He is a U.S. Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky. Mr. Carl is a member of the American Legion Post 175 in Washington. Mrs. Carl was formerly employed in the food service department at Washington & Jefferson College.
