Brooks – 50 years
William and Patricia Brooks of Eighty Four celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a Mass and vow renewal officiated by Bishop David Zubek October 2 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, followed by dinner with family. They also plan to take a cruise in the spring.
Mr. and Mrs. Brooks were married October 22, 1966, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg.
Their children are David Brooks of Tennessee, Allison Brooks of Georgia, Darren (Jennifer) Brooks of Ohio, Bethany (Mark) Ludwin of Bridgeville and Kristen (Matt) Evans of McDonald.
Their grandchildren are Jeremy and Trisha Brooks, Maddox and Lauren Brooks and Haiden and Brock Evans.
Mr. Brooks is retired from General Electric and remains active in his community as chairman of the Canonsburg Fourth of July celebration and with North Strabane Township Parks and Recreation.
Mrs. Brooks is employed in medical records at Allegheny Health Network and enjoys scrapbooking.
Both enjoy spending time with family and friends.
