Hollars – 50 years
Joe Don and Diane Hollars of Avon, Ohio, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with an intimate backyard gathering of family and close friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Hollars were married August 6, 1966, after eloping to Monroe, Mich.
Mrs. Hollars is formerly of Eighty Four.
Their children are Joe Don Jr. (Karlene) Hollars of Vermilion, Ohio, and Cari Lyn (Will) Murphy of Dover, Ohio.
Their grandchildren are Lindsey, Tyler and Lauren Hollars.
Mr. Hollars is retired from Iron Workers Local 17 and Ford Motor Co. He is an avid weightlifter.
Mrs. Hollars is a retired secretary from Westlake City Schools. She enjoys decorating and country antiques.
