Volunteer Connection
Did you know if you can help someone an hour or two a week, or even a month, you can make an impact and a difference in a person’s life? Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers who are ready to help with the following senior citizens or individuals with disabilities who would like to remain independent:
- Are you a snow lover? We have senior citizens and individuals with disabilities throughout the county who need someone to shovel snow on an “on-call” basis when the weather gets bad. Let us know if you can volunteer for snow removal and we will get you con
- nected.
- A Charleroi senior woman needs help with grocery shopping and possibly general cleaning.
- A Houston woman needs a volunteer to assist with taking her laundry to be done at a local laundromat.
- A Prosperity-area senior man needs help with filing medical and insurance papers, sorting through items to sell online and other clerical duties.
- A Washington senior woman with Parkinson’s needs someone to run errands and go to the grocery store for her.
