Father Carmen D’Amico, pastor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish in Meadow Lands, and Dr. Yinka Aganga-Williams, right, executive director of Acculturation for Justice Access and Peace Outreach, received Spirit of Charity Awards from Vincentian Academy at its 85th Anniversary Gala held Nov. 14 at Le Mont Restaurant, Pittsburgh. The awards were presented by principal/head of school Rita B. Canton, center. Spirit of Charity awards are presented to individuals whose lives personify selflessness in service and a deep concern for others.
