The Washington High School Prexie Performers present “The Southern-Fried High School Reunion Comedy” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the high school’s large group instruction room. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Breakfast with Santa will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Chartiers Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, 502 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington. Children will receive a treat bag at this free event.
The Washington Festival Chorale will perform “Angels, Bells and Carols” at 7 p.m. Friday at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 East Beau St., Washington and Sunday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 105 Gateshead Drive, McMurray. Tickets are $10. For information, call 724-228-7351.
The annual Wreaths Across America Day will take place at noon Saturday at the Laurel Point Cemetery. This year’s theme is “I’m an American. Yes I am.” The Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club has volunteered to conduct the WAA ceremony for the seventh consecutive year. Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember those who served, honor their sacrifices, and teach our younger generations about the high cost of our freedoms. Club members and volunteers will lay 338 wreaths on the graves of the veterans buried at the cemetery. The American Legion Post 400 Honor Guard and the Carmichaels VFW Post 3491 will be participating in the wreath laying ceremony. The American Legion Post 400 Band will begin playing military selections at 11:30 a.m. near the monument at the cemetery. Frank Ricco will serve as master of ceremony and Fred Morecraft will be the guest speaker.
Windover Hills Church, 6751 Ridge Road, South Park, will present “Precious Emmanuel” at 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 412-653-6899.
Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church, 200 Thornton Road-Route 166, Brownsville, will hold a Blue Christmas Service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. A Blue Christmas service is aimed at those who are having difficulties in life, who have lost a loved one, etc. The collection will go toward the food bank holiday dinner voucher program for 2018. Dutch Fork Christian Church, 48 Dutch Fork Church Road, Claysville, will hold a concert by Thomas and Shelton at 7 p.m. Sunday.
McDonald United Methodist Church, 232 East Lincoln Ave., McDonald, will collect hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for the women’s shelter in Washington County Sunday.
