Volunteers from Range Resources, including Lauren Popko and Alex Lauterbach, take toys inside Washington Alliance Church Monday for the Toys for Tots campaign.

Range Resources, with help from employees, vendors and the Observer-Reporter, stuffed a box truck full of donations for the Toys for Tots campaign. Volunteers dropped off the donation Monday at the Washington Alliance Church collection center. The toys are distributed to families in Washington and Greene Counties.

More than $50,000 worth of toys were collected this year, which is the most ever collected by the company during their yearly campaign. According to Mark Windle, Range manager of corporate communications, Toys for Tots volunteers said they have a surplus of toys for the first time, and they plan to support Fayette County’s Toys for tots with the excess gifts.
