Arnone – 70 years

Sam and Ruth Arnone of Vestaburg will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Arnone were married in March 1, 1947, in Millsboro.

They have one son, Larry (Sandy) Arnone. Their grandchildren are Brian Arnone and Nicole Gelineau. They also have two great-grandchildren.

The couple grew up together in Vestaburg and married soon after Mr. Arnone returned from the war. They moved to Los Angeles, where Mr. Arnone retired from the Los Angeles Times. After his retirement, the couple moved back to Vestaburg.
