A community dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Rogersville United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall. The meal will include meat loaf, parsley potatoes, corn, applesauce, dessert and beverage. Dinner is free but donations will be accepted. Takeout available. New Freeport fire hall will host country music Saturday. Neon Nights will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Old Habits will play from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Admission is $5.

First Christian Church, 615 E Beau St., will hold its Trash to Treasure sale from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It will feature furniture, seasonal items and household items.

The 36th annual Carpatho-Rusyn Celebration will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church social hall, 201 East Main St., Uniontown. There will be ethnic food, music, folk dancing and singing, crafts, demonstrations, videos, displays and presentations. A folk music group will perform at 12:30 and 4 p.m., and Slavjane Folk Ensemble dancers and musicians will perform at 2 p.m. Religious services include a divine liturgy at 9 a.m. and a Moleben service at 3 p.m. Admission is free. Cardiologist Glen R. Miske, D.O., will host a free talk about atrial fibrillation at 6 p.m. Monday in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. United Church of Christ, 232 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald, will hand out treats and bottled water during McDonald’s trick or treat, from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Washington Community Theatre Inc. will presens “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do,” featuring the music of Neil Sedaka, Nov. 10-12 at Washington Elks Lodge 776, 138 E. Maiden St. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. Sunday. Cost for dinner and show is $33 for adults and $30 for senior citizens and students.
