A “Magical Halloween Party” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Monongahela Township Community and Senior Center, 110 Martin’s Ferry Road, Greensboro. Entertainment will be provided by Beyond Magic.

Christian Mothers Altar Society of Holy Rosary Church, Muse, will no longer hold an Election Day spaghetti dinner.
A community dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. The menu will include creamed chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw or fruit, dessert and beverage. A free-will offering will be accepted. Carryout is available. The Southwestern Local Task Force 1 monthly meeting will be from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 2 at the IU1 Central Office, One Intermediate Unit Drive, Coal Center. The speaker will be Ian Neumaier, founder of Find Some Flow, which brings together communities and schools through inclusive sports for everyone.
