If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, your time can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent.

Some needs are:

• A Charleroi senior man needs someone to assist with grocery shopping.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs friendly visits and phone calls.
• A Cherry Valley/Burgettstown-area visually impaired, senior woman needs someone to visit, read the Bible and/or go shopping with her.
• An Amity woman needs help with transportation for appointments in the Washington area.
• Do you have a good driving record and enjoy driving? Would you like to join a list of “on-call” drivers/escorts to take seniors or individuals with disabilities shopping or to appointments? Volunteers are needed throughout the county to drive at various times.
