Peters Township Police Department will hold Coffee with a Cop from 9 to 10 a.m. today at McDonalds, 3723 Washington Road, McMurray. Participants can ask questions, voice concerns and get to know officers in Peters Township.

Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society’s third annual Spring Model Railroad Open House will be held Saturday and Sunday at 128 Pleasant St., Morgantown, W.Va. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. See the largest HO scale model railroad in North Central West Virginia with more than 700 feet of mainline covering three levels. The event will include free videos, a white elephant table and auction. Coffee, bottled water and home-baked goods will be sold. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. A country music concert will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall, 101 Main St. Larry Santee & Friends will perform at 7 and Smokey Robbins will play at 8:30. Admission is $5.

Little Lake Theatre’s Annual Fundraiser, Curtains Up!, will be held from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray and feature an interactive murder mystery theme. A gospel concert featuring eight local acts and choirs will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday at Claysville Methodist Church, Main Street.
