If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, your time can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some recent requests are:

• A Monongahela senior woman who loves animals would like a friendly visitor once a week to talk to.
• A Cherry Valley/Burgettstown-area visually impaired, senior woman needs someone to visit, read the Bible and/or go shopping with her.
• A Charleroi senior gentleman needs someone to assist with grocery shopping.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs friendly visits and phone calls.

Would you like to join a list of “on-call” drivers/escorts to take seniors or individuals with disabilities shopping or to appointments? Volunteers are needed from throughout the county to drive at various times.
