A community dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in Fellowship Hall at Rogersville United Methodist Church, 3260 W. Roy Furman Highway. The meal will include choice of chicken or ham, homemade noodles, green beans, applesauce, dessert and beverage. The dinner is free, but donations are accepted. Carryout will be available. Dynamic Shopping Lifestyle Show Event will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in the Guesman Room at Washington Health System Greene, 350 Bonar Ave., Waynesburg. Proceeds benefit WHS Greene Auxiliary. Cash, credit/debit cards and payroll deductions will be accepted as forms of payment.

Carmichaels Area High School students will display their works of art during the sixth annual art show from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the high school cafeteria, located at 215 N. Vine St., Carmichaels. More than 200 original works will be exhibited, including ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed media. The event is free and open to the public.

Hickory Lions Club will sponsor Spring Fling Social from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Pleasant Township fire hall in Hickory. The Mikey Dee Band will perform and there will be karaoke. Cost is $15 per person, which includes refreshments, photo booth, ice cream booth and door prizes. There will also be an auction and a 50/50 raffle. New Freeport Ladies Auxiliary will hold a country music concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall. Common Ground will play from 7 to 8:30; Old Habits will perform from 8:30 to 10. Admission is $5.

The Hunting Hills Hawkeyes, Greene County’s Scholastic Clay Target Program team, will host its annual benefit shoot Saturday at Hunting Hills in Dilliner. Registration begins at noon with warm-up shooting at 12:30 p.m. The event begins at 2 followed by a catered dinner and awards presentation. Award categories include youth, ladies and individual. Ticket drawings for a 50/50 raffle, guns and other prizes will also be held after dinner. Registration fee of $80 per person or $320 for teams of four includes 100 clay targets, dinner and awards. Shells are not included. Four-seat golf carts may be rented for $60. A limit of three mulligans per shooter may be purchased for $5 each. Proceeds benefit Hunting Hills Hawkeyes. Monongahela Valley Hospital, in conjunction with the Carroll Township Police Department, will participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday, The event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be held on the hospital campus at the circular driveway area outside of the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center. Personal information should be removed ahead of time from the bottles or packages of expired, unwanted or unused controlled, non-controlled or over-the-counter medications. Liquid products and creams in their containers will also be accepted. Sharps and syringes will not be accepted.
