Paris Presbyterian Church will hold its 3rd Annual Community Day from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday to honor first responders and to bring the community together. The parade of fire trucks and police cruisers begins at 11:10. Local fire departments have been invited to make their own chili for a chili cook-off, which will be judged at noon. There will be a blessing over all first responders at 12:15.

There will be activities for children throughout the day, including face-painting, games, crafts, bouncy house and rides on a fire truck. Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department will bring a truck for the kids to explore. Weirton Police will do a K-9 demonstration. Chrisagis Brothers will perform and there will be a skit from The Ozark Mountain Crew. Local author Annette Dashofy will sell her books. Food and baked goods will be available for purchase. There will be an auction and prizes will be given out during the day.
