Reunion set during Flashlight Drags
Friends of Pittsburgh International Dragway, which was a local drag strip that stopped sanctioned races in 1976, is holding a reunion during the Flashlight Drags event Sunday afternoon at Greene County Airport. Members will bring their vintage drag cars out to grudge race against old rivals, just like they did in the 1960s. Spectators can watch front engine dragsters, funny cars, gassers and pro-stock cars as the drivers put on a pre-race exhibition at 1 p.m. just before the Flashlight Drags races are set to begin.
