Ice cream for breakfast to benefit MS
Skip the eggs and bacon … Sarris Candies, Canonsburg, will have ice cream for breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon in the ice cream parlor the week of Aug. 20.
The company will match a portion of the proceeds for all items sold to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter, which helps researchers find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS), a progressive disorder that affects 2.3 million people. KDKA radio host Marty Griffin will help kick off the event Monday.
