Come Together in Jesus’ Name fall retreat planned
The Come Together in Jesus’ Name Retreat at Camp Sonrise Mountain in Markleysburg is set for Sept. 21, 22 and 23, with Sue Willis ministering. There will be three meals on Saturday and two meals on Sunday. The first of five services begins Friday evening at 7 p.m. The theme for this year’s retreat is Spiritual Warfare.
Willis is an ordained minister, international speaker, author, founder and executive director of the Abundant Life Ministry Center and Sue Willis Life Ministries Inc. She is the director of Women’s Ministries at her home church.
In 2007, the Pregnancy Resource Center of the South Hills of Pennsylvania sought her expertise to produce a ministry for survivors of rape and sexual abuse/assault or were victims of sex trafficking. She responded by developing the curriculum, “A Time to Heal Beyond Survival (ATTHBS),” which is a ministry of hope, healing and restoration for women, teens and men, who are survivors of and dealing with the effects of all issues of abuse. Willis also pioneered the Redemption Home Project in India, a mission to rescue young girls before they are sold into sex trafficking.
