At First Baptist Church in Waynesburg, the Coalition’s Planning and Board meeting at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, will be a cover dish fellowship. There will be no meeting; share a meal and spend an hour talking about the next steps of the Coalition. Water, coffee, cups and plates will be provided.
Peters Township Meals on Wheels will hold Cookies for a Cause from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Donaldson’s Crossroads, Suite 201. Many varieties of cookies will be available, including specialty, ethnic, traditional, seasonal and pastries. All cookies are homemade. Donations will also be accepted. Wrap It Up Washington! Holiday Event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the CHROME FCU Meeting Room, 440 Racetrack Road, Washington. Shop the vendors and get a chance at a free prize just for attending. Proceeds benefit various charities.
South Brownsivlle United Methodist Church will hold Brunch with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. There will be free hot dogs, mac and cheese and drinks for children, plus free activities and a movie.
