J-M Centennial Lions Club students of the month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Brittany Nelson as its student of the month for October, and Kaitlin Wood as its student of the month for November. Brittany, daughter of Sherrie and Jeff Nelson of Clarksville, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.48 GPA. She is a member of National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, engineering team and Envirothon (president). She volunteers at Carmichaels Public Library. Brittany plans to attend Penn State University to study engineering. Kaitlin, the daughter of Dawn Wood and Thomas Goughenour of Mather, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School where she maintains a 4.2 GPA. She is a member of National Honor Society, Leo Club, yearbook staff and Drama Club. She is vice president of the senior class. Kaitlin volunteers at Mather Christian Church and Catnip Acres. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as an orthodontist.
